J.K. Rowling
J.K. Rowling is a famous writer. She was born on July 31 1965 in Yate, near Bristol, a few miles away from a town called Dursly. Her parents met on a train. Her sister Di was born a year and 11 months after her. J.K. Rowlings real name is Joanne Rowling. She moved to Winterbourne when she was four. There was many kids around her age living on their street. There was a brother and sister whos last name was Potter. In her town there was a lot of pottery making, drawing, and writing. When she was nine she moved for the last time to a small village in Wales. She has three children, Mackenzie, David, and Jessica. She started the first Harry Potter in a local cafe on some scraps of paper.
